An intervention to improve the detection and management of Familial Hypercholesterolaemia in primary care. A/Prof Hespe is part of a team based at The University of Notre Dame who were awarded $2 million in funding and comprises a contribution from the NHMRC and in-kind support.

An intervention to improve the detection and management of Familial Hypercholesterolaemia in primary care. A/Prof Hespe is heading the NSW team as part of a national research collaboration with the UNDA Fremantle School of Medicine. She was successful in winning a grant to fund a research intervention study to be conducted in four practices in New South Wales (NSW), using a method of care involving phenotypic diagnosis of FH and follow up management in primary care.

2014: NHMRC Grant

An integrated general practice and pharmacy-based intervention to promote the prescription and use of appropriate preventive medications among individuals at high cardiovascular risk. A/Prof Hespe is part of an international group of Researchers who are working to reduce cardiovascular disease from the primary care setting. The partnership is led by Professor Patel out of the George Institute.
